Hello, my name is APOLIYA. I'm a soul, blues, jazz and gospel singer, singer-songwriter, pianist, composer, poet and arranger. Since I was a child I've been inspired by Ray Charles, Billie Holiday, Amy Winehouse, Mahalia Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Freddie Mercury, Nina Simone etc. I write autobiography soul ballads with Russian and English lyrics and translate them to my audience. My songs're about love, violence, abuse, psychology and philosophy. I've a lot of themes to sing about. In my songs and covers I combine afro-vocal with opera vocal features. In addition, I write neoclassical instrumental compositions where classical music's integrated with blues, soul and rock themes. Honestly, I'd just like to share internationally soul, ballad and oldschool music with hope to find people who can be close to it. It seems to me, no matter what language lyrics's written in, the main language is music. I'm ready for overseas work and can go to any country if music career requires it
