Our style is inspired by life and work of Nigerian music idol Fela Kuti and world blues, soul and reggae performers, as well as traditional West African music. A mix of genres of Afrococoa extends from the peripheries of Lagos to noisy New Orleans bars - afrobeat, highlife, reggae, blues, calypso and the rawest sounds of a dancehall... Rhythms, that sneak up to the bones and creep into the farthest corners of your souls, making your blood boiling and waking up ancient instincts!
