AKADO is an independent Russian Electro-Rock / Dark-Pop band The name of the band comes from Japanese «AKA» 赤 - «red» and «DO» 道 — «a road» («a path» in its philosophical meaning). The meaning of the name reflects the concept of the band which consists in a pursuit of self-knowledge and search of the answers to the main existential questions, such as human nature and man's place in the world. The key musical feature of today's AKADO are catchy tunes and incredibly successful combination of live and electronic music. Together with deep texts, multi-faceted vocal, dance rhythms and flashy visual image of musicians it makes the band absolutely unique.
